London Zoo in Regent's
Park is one of the world's most famous zoos and home to
over 12,000 animals.
Amongst the animals you can see are lions, tigers,
primates, bears, hippopotomuses, monkeys, apes,
meerkats, otters, tapirs,
tamarins, birds of prey, parrots, giraffes, gazelles,
reptiles, waterbirds, owls and many many more.
Rare and beautiful creatures can be seen in the Aquarium,
Elephant House, Penguin Pool, Snowdon Aviary, on Bear
Mountain, and in the 'Web of Life' exhibition. There is
also a Children's Zoo and Pet Care Centre.
