Printworks is one of the popular entertainment venues in Manchester. It is home to 20 different avenues, which include the famous Odeon, Wagamama, Tige Tige, CAFE Rogue amongst others.
As the name suggests, was a very big publishing house. It was originally owned by the infamous Robert Maxwell, who was also an MP. Robert Maxwell came under a lot of pressue during his ownership of the Printworks, which was due his illegal way operating the business and the pension scam related to it.
Maxwell passed away in 1991 and the site later was redevloped into an entertainment venue. Printworks was also home to the glamorous Hard Rock Casino, which closed down in 2006.

By Rail: Manchester Airport
Metro Shuttle: Metro shuttle 1 – to get to Piccadilly Bus Station and Piccadilly Rail Station stopping on Cross Street/Market Street (then walk back towards Exchange Square and you see The Printworks).
Metro shuttle 2 – stops directly outside The Printworkswhich runs to Oxford Road and Victoria Rail Station.
By Car: J30 of M6, then follow directions to Corporation Street
